Princess Decomposia and Count Spatula does contain romance, and it’s done in a sweet way. I did stop and pause for a moment at the end of the book, wondering what the ages of these characters were, despite the fact they’re not rendered as humans. Decomposia feels very young, while Count Spatula feels much older — he is a chef, after all. Princess Decomposia and Count Spatula is a brisk, enjoyable read, whether you’re seeking broad comedy or an adept level of character detail layered into a larger, captivating narrative. Tags.

Princess Decomposia was a strong, super capable heroine that was so realistic. Count Spatula was cool, and I liked Clove as well.

It was just a cute read that didn't really have too much going on, but it's still super easy to get through. I did have some issues with the world building, though. You apparently really have to read the summary of 4/5(18). Princess Decomposia was a strong, super capable heroine that was so realistic.

Watson took some time to discuss "Princess Decomposia and Count Spatula," family dynamics and how quickly time moves in the comic book marketplace. CBR News: Andi, emotionally true relationships have always played a central role in yours comics, and two main relationships drive this book -- let's talk about Decomposia and her father, the king.

Andi Watson has created a creepy-cute romance with the new graphic novel, Princess Decomposia and Count Spatula. The Princess is overwhelmed taking care of the business of the Underworld while her father convalescences in bed and complains about his food.

In comes a pastry chef vampire, Count Spatula, who sees the stress the Princess is under. Maybe eventually, but first Princess Decomposia has to sort out her life.

And with Count Spatula at her side, you can be sure she'll succeed. Andi Watson (Glister, Gum Girl) brings his signature gothy-cute sensibility to this very sweet and mildly spooky tale of friendship. Princess Decomposia and Count Spatula is a gothic tale in the spirit (pun only half intended) of the best of Austen’s novels.

I knew Andi would be. Luckily for Princess Decomposia, she makes a good hire in Count Spatula, the vampire chef with a sweet tooth.
